  10.        This chapter lists information that is supplemental to the
  11.        _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e and the
  12.        installation instructions in the _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m
  13.        _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e.  The information listed here is
  14.        product-specific; use it with either of these guides to
  15.        install this product.

  33.        You can use the software installation instructions in the
  34.        _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e to install this
  35.        product.  If you are installing this software for the first
  36.        time, the default subsystems are installed if you click the
  37.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l _A_u_t_o_m_a_t_i_c_a_l_l_y button.  To install a different set of
  38.        subsystems, click the _C_u_s_t_o_m_i_z_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n button and make
  39.        your new selections.  Then click the _S_t_a_r_t button to begin.

  41.        Note:  The sizes of the demos vary from platform to
  42.               platform, because different versions are loaded on
  43.               different graphics platforms; the sizes are not
  44.               listed here.  However, since demos are listed
  45.               individually, you will see each demo's size
  46.               requirements displayed within inst or Software
  47.               Manager.  Please refer to the _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n
  48.               _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e for information on finding
  49.               exact sizes.

  55.        IRIX.  You do not need to use the miniroot.  Refer to the

  142.        As of the 6.3 release of IRIX, the demos directory structure
  143.        (/usr/demos) was changed to accommodate a more modular, easy
  144.        to use format.  Some previous supplemental demo software
  145.        products assume that directories such as /usr/demos/bin and
  146.        /usr/demos/data exist.  It is expected that all future
  147.        versions of demos support the new format, but in the interim
  148.        you will need to override the associated conflict (this
  149.        option is available with inst or Software Manager) if you
  150.        attempt to install these previous demos on IRIX 6.3 or later
  151.        versions of IRIX.

  173.        _N_O_T_E: The web-based interface utilizes the default web
  174.        server which is installed on each system.  If you wish to
  175.        access the demos from the web-based interface, but using a
  176.        server other than webserver.sw, (/var/www) you will need to
  177.        address the following issues:
